We are getting so many nice comments about the pictures you two took. A big comment we've heard is that everyone looks so happy and like they are having fun! A big complaint of a lot of moms I know is that when we take our kids to get their pictures taken, we, as moms, walk away stressed out and sweaty from trying to get our kids to smile. It seems the photo people just point and shoot and it's up to us to get the kids to smile. Ends up being exhausting. Our kids left your photo shoot and said, "That was fun!" and it was non-stressful for me!

Jeremy and Sarah Ann- June 13th, 2009

This summer I had the privelege of photographing my older brother, Jeremy's wedding.
Jeremy and Sarah Ann were married on a warm day in early June. Once again our family was blessed with great weather for an outdoor ceremony. Of course I would think they are a handsome couple but I will let you judge for yourself. Their hearts were so evident in their ceremony, I think this was one of my favorite weddings besides my own. Much love to them both.

Donovan and Kayla 3-14-09

After talking with Kayla last week, I was reminded of her beautiful wedding last March. These photos deserved to be posted long ago. Donovan and Kayla have sinced moved to Virginia Beach where Donovan is stationed. This was my first wedding of someone in the service. The couple looked so nice together in all white. Many happy memories and best wishes for the future.

There were so many photos to choose from but this is one I just couldn't resist. What a priceless photo of a flower girl who doesn't quite realize the significance of the moment. : ) She just kept yawning over and over again. You may miss these moments on your wedding day, but we do our best to catch these for you so you can enjoy them for the rest of your life.

I had a wonderful evening taking Tesia's senior pictures. The first location for her photo shoot was just perfect, a beautifully restored flour mill. The sun was setting perfectly providing a warm glow everywhere. Tesia, you are a beautiful young woman both inside and out!

What a beautiful fall morning! I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Weimers and the beautiful fall foliage of Western Maryland. From having the girls jump up and down to loosen up and giggle a little bit to finding the perfect lighting on a georgeous day, the morning flew and we captured some great smiles and memories.

Wedding Review II

Bethany and Tyson were married in her childhood backyard in West Virginia earlier this past summer. I had grown up with Bethany and so it was quite a privilege to celebrate her special day so closely with her.

This last photo is certainly not the least as it is one of my all time favorites. Lydia and Josh excited the church newly married and so full of joy!! Congratulations to each couple and we are so excited to photograph our next wedding in the beginning of march!

Wedding Review

Gretchen and Nathan were recently wed in Oct of 08. It was a beautiful ceremony in autumn in West Virginia. This was the first wedding Krista and I (Kristen) had ever shot together. It proved to be much more relaxing knowing that someone else was capturing those priceless moments too. We make a great team.

I (Kristen) was so thrilled to take these engagement photos for some college friends of mine. I was a bit nervous because Jon was a fellow photographer (He proposed while taking a self portrait.) and I wanted them to turn out well. I guess I should not have been so worried. As you can see we had a lot of fun. We wish them well as they plan their wedding for next spring.

What a blessing to have blue skies for our photography shoot. The snow on the ground certainly gave us a unique angle on senior portraits. I (Kristen) had a great time talking and laughing the whole time. Great people make great portraits.

Talk about a cold winter day, but very enjoyable! My (Krista) inlaws have a gorgeous farm with lots of creative nooks for picture taking, not to mention the beautiful drafts horses roaming about. This was our first official job with a pet, it went very well, one of us with the camera and the other dog sitting :) A very fun evening, Rebecca and Adam photographed well and had a great sense of humor. Their dog (Chloe) had an adventurous time smelling new smells and finding interesting "treats" to eat along the way. Thanks for an enjoyable time!
